There are so many elements to developing an event like this from scratch. I was aware of this and I have spreadsheets and charts and plans to keep me on track. However, i underestimated the added complexity that came with having such a large number and variety of stakeholders involved. Don't get me wrong, i think we did start this project correctly by getting everyone involved from the ideas stage, however; managing their incredibly valuable contributions and ensuring i communicate progress regularly and effectivly is taking up a vast amount of time. But i'm hoping i'll be able to mutter "i love it when a plan comes together' very soon.
I was Guest lecturer for the Business degree students at Glyndwr. They have an assignment built around the MythFest events. I thoroughly enjoyed their welcome and enthusiasm and the nerves did fall away. I'm looking forward to their presentations and working with those who have volunteered their time to help make MythFest a great success.
I've seen the second animation. Thank you Splinter it's brilliant, just what i was hoping for. It will provide some of the authentic NE Wales back-story to our event. Can't wait to release it soon......
